We offer one-stop design and build \u2013 that\u2019s what our niche is,\u201d President Wayne Schmeeckle declares. \u201cBeef processing plant construction is a huge market out there, but it\u2019s really interesting how there\u2019s very few people that are involved in it at our level.\u201dSchmeeckle began as a subcontractor installing beef processing equipment. This enabled him to see at close range the dysfunction between the general contractors of such projects and the equipment suppliers. \u201cThe building guy didn\u2019t really understand what the equipment looked like, and the equipment supplier was trying to install in a building that wasn\u2019t set up correctly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

We saw a market niche in providing full interface among the designers, contractors and equipment installers on such beef processing plants, and our company began to provide it in 1987 on projects his company designed and built. \u201cWe try to make sure that we are able to convey to not only the owner but everybody on the team what the finished project will look like with 3-D drawings.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All Schmeeckle Brothers Construction Co. needs to know from the owners of a new beef processing plant are the capacity of the plant and the speed at which the owners want it to run. \u201cWe design the facility, build it and help train the owner\u2019s employees in how to run it as far as the maintenance and how to keep it operational. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
